New offices and 4,000 m2 cutting workshop openedOctober 2010 – On Friday, 8 October De Boer Snijbedrijf celebrated the opening of its new offices and state-of-the-art 4,000 m2 cutting workshop. During a spectacular opening act, the 'Iron Man' switched on a laser show to reveal the new logos of De Boer Staal, De Boer Buizen, and De Boer Snijbedrijf. In its new cutting workshop, De Boer Snijbedrijf has four advanced cutting machines at its disposal with full fume extraction, including a Koike 3-D plasma cutter, to support the expansion of its cutting operations. Of course, the festivities also highlighted the other two companies of the Steel and Steel Processing division and the fact that after fifteen years the De Boer Buizen trade name has returned to ROTO. De Boer Staal received special attention, and all the guests were given a full tour of its new 3,000 m2 extension to the storage facilities. Arnaud de Boer, the general manager of ROTO’s Steel and Steel Processing division, is very pleased with the joining of forces that the new logos also express. “If you need steel, pipes, or cutting, you need De Boer!” |
